This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit konixit.de and when you contact us, why it is processed and what rights you have.

2. Visiting the website (server log files)
When you open a page, the web server automatically processes technical information that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system details. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating a secure website). Log data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes and is then deleted.
3. Contact and project inquiry forms
When you send us a message through a form on this website, we process the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the product or service you are interested in, your business sector, the type of solution you need, your preferred contact method and your message.
We use this information only to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare an offer or a project discussion. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given with the checkbox on the form). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the email address above; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Submissions are stored in the website’s database and sent to us by email. Stored submissions are deleted automatically after 12 months, unless we need to keep them longer because of an ongoing business relationship or a legal obligation.
To protect the forms against spam, we use a hidden field, a minimum completion time and a short-lived counter that limits the number of messages sent from one connection. The counter is based on a one-way hash of your IP address, not the IP address itself, and expires after ten minutes. No external spam-protection service is used.
4. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. WordPress sets technically necessary cookies only for logged-in administrators of the website.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are stored on our own server. When you visit the website, no connection is made to external font providers.
6. Analytics and social media
We do not use web analytics tools, social media plugins or advertising networks on this website.
7. Links to other websites
Some pages link to the websites of our products, such as inoqta.com, hms.konixit.de and ddns.inoqta.com. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- restrict processing (Art. 18);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).

9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the way we process data changes. The current version is always available on this page.
